40 grams Lisa's Choice Oats
30 grams dark brown sugar
Pomegranate seeds and Greek yogurt
Preparation
Start by preparing the caramel sauce, as it can cool down a bit while you work on the pears.
Caramel Sauce
1. In a saucepan, combine the butter, sugar, vanilla extract, golden syrup, and half of the heavy cream. Mix well and bring to a boil.
2. Let it gently boil for about 3 minutes. Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the remaining heavy cream and coarse salt. Mix well.
3. Allow the sauce to cool slightly, then pour it into a clean (jam) jar.
Pear Crumble
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
2. Cut the pears in half lengthwise and use a spoon to remove the cores, creating a hollow space. Place the pears in a baking dish with the open/flat side facing up.
3. In a bowl, mix the sugar, oats, cinnamon, walnuts, and salt with 35 grams of melted butter.
4. Brush the remaining 15 grams of melted butter onto the pears.
5. Evenly distribute the oat mixture over the pears.
6. Bake the pears in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes. The pears are done when they are soft and can be easily pierced with a knife.
Remove the pears from the baking dish and place them on a plate. Spoon a dollop of Greek yogurt onto each pear half and drizzle with caramel sauce. Finish by sprinkling pomegranate seeds over the top.
The pears can be enjoyed both warm and cold.
Enjoy!
