Waffles
A delicious waffle that you can endlessly customize; try it with red fruits, passion fruit, or mango with pomegranate seeds and coconut, for example. Perfect for breakfast or as a festive snack in between.
Ingredients
Waffle iron
250 grams of Lisa's Choice Oatmeal, ground into flour
1 packet of baking powder (4 teaspoons of baking powder)
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 ripe banana (about 120 grams)
2 eggs
250 grams of (plant-based) milk
oil for greasing the waffle iron
Preparation
1. Mix the ground oatmeal, baking powder, and cinnamon well with a whisk.
2. In a bowl, combine the milk and eggs and mix with a whisk.
3. Mash the banana and add it to the egg/milk mixture.
4. Add the flour mixture and mix until a smooth homogeneous batter forms.
5. Preheat the waffle iron and grease it with oil. Bake the waffles until golden brown.
6. Enjoy with red fruits and a dollop of whipped cream, or try them with mango, pomegranate seeds, and coconut flakes. The variation with passion fruit, Greek yogurt, and blueberries is also delightful!
